We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our in-house Catering Team as a Kitchen Hand.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of designated kitchen areas and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
">

* The orderly and efficient storage of all supplies and equipment as required.
">
* Provide assistance with basic food preparation as directed by the Chef(s).
">
* Clean and maintain all designated kitchen areas, appliances, utensils, and tools including canopy and range hoods, fridges and cool room, grill and deep fry bays.
">
* Removal of all garbage/recyclables from kitchen area to designated waste area.
">
* Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and operation of industrial floor cleaning machinery
">
* Monitor stock levels and liaise with Executive Chef and suppliers
">
* Assist in the setup and breakdown of mobile kitchen equipment and trestle tables for events
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:
">
">
* Minimum 2 years' experience in performing a similar role.
">
* Appreciation of the legislation governing food service hygiene.
">
* Sound knowledge of the appropriate use of cleaning chemicals.
">
* Knife/equipment handling skills.
">
* Good general knowledge of the operation and cleaning of equipment.
">
* Ability to work autonomously and efficiently under pressure.
