**About the Role**
This position involves working as a caregiver in clients' homes, providing support with daily activities and promoting their independence.
We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our team of professionals who share a passion for delivering high-quality care services.
* Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and administering medication
* Social Support: Accompany clients to social events, shopping trips, medical appointments, and other activities
* Domestic Assistance: Help with light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
* Aids and Equipment: Assist clients with using assistive devices and personal equipment
* Complex Needs: Support clients with complex or challenging needs, including monitoring their well-being and reporting progress
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide respectful, dignified, safe, and empowering care to clients
* Work collaboratively with clients and their families to develop individualized support plans
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and service delivery
Requirements:
Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or Individual Support (or equivalent)
* At least one year's experience in community, aged, disability, or healthcare
* Current Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
* CPR/First Aid Certificate and Australian Driver's Licence
* Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle
* Smartphone with internet access
