Alliance Extra Staff is seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to support a healthcare facility in the Goulburn Valley region on a temporary full-time assignment for approximately 8–12 weeks starting ASAP This role requires someone confident in a fast-paced environment, committed to high standards of food safety, and available 5 days per week within a 7-day roster between 0700–1600 .
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and deliver high-quality meals in line with dietary and texture-modified requirements
* Maintain accurate food safety, temperature, and hygiene records
* Ensure all kitchen, service, and food preparation areas meet infection-control and safety standards
* Work collaboratively with the broader kitchen team to ensure smooth daily service
* Adhere to food safety regulations, kitchen procedures, and workplace health and safety standards
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Cook in healthcare, aged care, or a commercial kitchen
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Mandatory)
* Strong understanding of food safety and dietary requirements
* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently in a busy setting
* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Current National Police Clearance
* Current Working With Children Check
* Flu Vaccination (2025)
* COVID-19 Vaccination – highly desired but not mandatory
