The Opportunity
Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, the Purchasing Officer (Parts Interpreter) is responsible for the provision of efficient and accurate parts advice, dispatch and administrative services to the Divisions and its customers.
You will develop relationships and build trust with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure customers order and receive correct parts
Provide technical and product specific information to customers on demand
Identify and secure additional parts sales opportunities
Monitor the effectiveness of parts processes including stock control and inventory
Order stock from suppliers and maintain accurate records, files and reports
About You
Knowledge of machines and components desirable
Attention to detail and accuracy of work
Customer focused
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively focus on primary objectives in a changing environment and to plan, schedule and prioritise workload
Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Outlook, Word) - Essential
Current drivers license
