Your Role
As a Commis Chef, you will work under the guidance of senior chefs, assisting with food preparation, plating, and kitchen operations across one of our diverse dining outlets. You will learn by doing – building your skills in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with prep and cooking across various kitchen sections.
* Ensure food is presented with consistency and care.
* Follow food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
* Rerrange through kitchens across the island to broaden your skills.
Requirements
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Essential).
* Valid working rights in Australia (minimum 6 months).
* Willingness to learn and follow direction.
* Good organisation, personal presentation, and communication skills.
* Open Australian driver licence (manual required for some roles).
