Based at Featherbrook P-9 College and working across other schools in the region, you will collaborate with other Handyperson/School Officers and cleaning teams to share responsibility for the day-to-day maintenance of school facilities. Your primary focus will be on delivering services and completing all assigned maintenance and service tasks to meet contractual obligations related to safety, performance, quality, communication, and special school projects.
About You
* Experience in handyman repairs, trades assistance, carpentry, or similar trades preferred.
* Ability to supervise project work or related disciplines.
* Experience in delivering FM services, especially where subcontractors are used for reactive and planned maintenance.
* Ability to monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance.
* Knowledge of domestic building statutory obligations, codes of practice, and the Building Code of Australia.
* Availability to be on call when required (allowance paid).
* A pre-employment medical, driver's license, police check, and a Working with Children Check are required for this position.
