Job Title: Allied Health Assistant
At Northeast Health, we are seeking an experienced and skilled Allied Health Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of healthcare professionals across inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality allied health assistant services to support the delivery of person-centered interventions;
* Work independently within the scope of practice, while also collaborating with other healthcare professionals as required;
* Develop and maintain relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure optimal health outcomes;
* Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Requirements:
* A Certificate IV Allied Health Assistant qualification;
* Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and experience in the provision of AHA duties, including videofluoroscopy swallow study and basic foot care;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment;
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands in a fast-paced clinical setting.
