The Role: Assistant Restaurant Manager
As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll be at the heart of operations, leading the team, delivering great customer experiences, and supporting the Restaurant Manager in driving sales and operational success.
Here's what success looks like:
* Drive the Floor: Oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house operations to keep service smooth, fast, and friendly.
* Empower Your Team: Lead, train, and inspire a crew of 15–20 to achieve operational goals and deliver excellent customer experiences.
* Lift the Bar: Maintain high standards of quality, speed, and consistency while fostering a positive, energetic work environment.
What You'll Bring:
* Previous leadership experience in QSR, casual dining, or fast-paced hospitality.
* Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or Department Manager (2+ years preferred).
* A hands-on, can-do attitude with a passion for service excellence.
* Strong people leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
* Energy, enthusiasm, and a drive to grow your career in hospitality.
* Must be local or settled in Byron Bay – Working Holiday Visa holders will not be considered.
