Job Details
Role: We are seeking a skilled Tradesperson (Electrical) to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, installing, commissioning, testing, and ensuring statutory compliance of health facility electrical equipment. This includes LV supply systems, control and other specialized systems, emergency power and lighting systems, and general building services.
As a member of the engineering and facilities team, the occupant will be responsible for repairing and installing electrical trade-related plant, equipment, services, and facilities within the department's area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining, installing, commissioning, testing, and ensuring statutory compliance of health facility electrical equipment.
* Repairing and installing electrical trade-related plant, equipment, services, and facilities.
* Working effectively as a member of a multifunctioning team.
* Interacting and communicating effectively with staff from all levels of various organizations.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated sound experience in and extensive knowledge of electrical trade skills.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, accomplish project timeframes, and make responsible recommendations.
* Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with staff from all levels of various organizations.

Eligibility:
* Current relevant practitioners license recognized by the Department of Justice, Tasmania.
Desirable Criteria:
* Previous experience in the Health Care Industry.
* Current Driver's Licence.
