We are currently seeking an Experienced Grill Chef for our Steakhouse Restaurant
To be successful in this role you must possess the following attributes:
- a great deal of hands-on experience in steak & ribs preferably at a large restaurant or a hotel
- must know various meat and steak cuts to select and cook perfect steaks and ribs
- must have experience in preparing various contemporary sauces and condiments
- possess great culinary presentation and plating skills
- knows pastas and pan work is preferred but not essential
- must be a smart planner of menus, food, and inventory
- work collaboratively with other chef, cooks and train as see fit
- ensure and adheres to workplace health and food safety standards
- Proven capacity to work under pressure and as part of a team including floor staff
