Lovecooking? Join the team at Southern Cross HealthService as a Cook, brining yourpassion for food to a role that supports the health andwellbeing of our patients and staff. You'll be responsible forthe day-today preparation and distribution of meals andbeverages, helping deliver quality nutritious food with care.This is a part time position at 42 hours perfortnight with casual appointmentsalso considered.

Visasponsorship is not available for this role.

About the OPPORTUNITY

Thisposition is responsible for the preparation of all meals forthe hospital and meals on wheels, supervising kitchencleanliness, associated equipment and stores, training ofkitchen staff and adherence of kitchen practices to FoodsafeGuidelines.

Tobe successful in this role, you will have...

* Relevantexperience in cooking in a setting similar to thisposition
* Goodunderstanding of appropriate hygiene and food handling(Foodsafe) standards
* Goodcommunication skills and the ability to work within a teamenvironment
* Goodorganisational and problem solving skills
* Knowledge of Foodsafeguidelines and safe practice
* Possession of a current'C' or 'C(a)' class drivers license
