Your Role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be a key point of contact for the People & Culture team and hiring leaders, providing end-to-end recruitment support, expert advice, and a strong focus on candidate and stakeholder experience across a complex, fast-paced project environment.
You'll:
* Coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle, including advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination, reference checks, pre-employment screening, and onboarding support
* Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and deliver tailored, strategic recruitment solutions
* Develop and maintain internal and external talent pools, proactive sourcing channels, and relationships with recruitment agencies
* Draft and publish job advertisements across internal and external platforms
* Support onboarding activities, including contract generation and system administration
* Ensure recruitment activities comply with employment legislation, organisational policies, and governance requirements
* Contribute to employer branding, candidate experience initiatives, and continuous improvement of recruitment processes
* Produce accurate and timely recruitment reporting and analytics to support workforce planning and evidence-based decision making
* Coordinate work experience and graduate programs and build relationships with tertiary institutions
* Work closely with external recruitment firms and manage agency relationships as required

You'll Need
* A qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline
* Previous experience in talent acquisition, ideally within a large, complex or project-based environment
* Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing strategies, and employment legislation
* Experience sourcing hard-to-fill and highly specialised technical roles in competitive labour markets
* Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
* A demonstrated focus on delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience
* Experience working with applicant tracking systems or HRIS
* A collaborative, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
* High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Experience in utilities or large infrastructure projects will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
