About the Service
ECTARC The Basin is a 40-place multifunction service offering both preschool and long day care programs for children from 2 years to school age.
We promote and provide daily opportunities for children to learn through play, to explore, be creative, investigate, problem solve, practise skills and be challenged. We believe strongly in building genuine relationships with families as the most important step in teaching any child. We promote and respect all cultures and family groups. Located in Yuin nation, we have a strong Aboriginal culture focus.
We have a strong connection with Sanctuary Point school. Our children participate in transition to school visits to give children an effective transition from early childhood education to school education and familiarise children with the classrooms and the school environment.
