Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Plant Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out warranty and customer repairs on a range of CAT machinery and associated products in a timely and efficient manner.
This is a customer-facing role that requires the ability to offer support and advice, as well as carry out maintenance on the customer fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out warranty and customer repairs on CAT machinery and associated products
* Providing technical support and advice to customers
* Maintaining accurate records of work completed
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Australian recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post-trade experience
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment
* Ability to work and seek out work opportunities without continuous direct supervision
* Previous post-trade Caterpillar experience in a field service environment
* Demonstrated strong safety values
* Ability to organise work teams and delegate tasks
* Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Forklift ticket
* Minimum of LR Drivers Licence
* Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
