Job Title
As the subject matter expert for track and civil maintenance, the Civil Maintenance Engineering Lead oversees technical and engineering aspects of delivery, ensuring site safety, quality, and environment controls.
* Monitor execution of the Technical Maintenance Plan to guarantee optimal site operations.
* Make informed engineering decisions regarding civil asset integrity to minimize risks and optimize performance.
* Proactively anticipate and fulfill requirements for specialist track equipment to maintain peak operational efficiency.
* Maximize resource utilization and ensure adequate ongoing maintenance to meet productivity targets.
* Develop and manage track and civil expenditure budgets and forecasts to drive business growth.
* Manage Track Safety Regulations (TSR) within the network to ensure compliance and minimize hazards.
* Monitor expenditure and prepare forward planning of track and civil requirements to support long-term sustainability.
* Maintain awareness of compliance, technical, and financial aspects of track and civil functions to drive strategic decision-making.
* Lead a team of technical maintenance engineers to achieve high levels of productivity and safety.
* Assign tasks and assist with reviews to ensure accuracy and quality control.
* Analyze and utilize track and civil documents/data and records to inform data-driven decision-making.
* Evaluate defect management conducted by maintenance teams to identify areas for improvement.
