In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining SMT machines to produce high-quality electronic assemblies. You’ll play a key role in ensuring production efficiency, minimising defects, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-tech environmentKey responsibilities will include:Comply with all relevant legislation, company policies, and industry standardsCoordinate daily tasks with the Production Manager and SMT Process EngineerSet up and operate SMT equipment per work instructions and specificationsInspect SMT PCBs meet IPC-A-610 quality standardsComplete required production documentationMonitor and report SMT consumable stock levelsPromote and maintain SMT best practices in the workplaceAssist in maintaining product quality to meet customer expectationsSupport continuous improvement and self-inspection initiativesTrack and report rework levels to Production ManagerEscalate quality issues that require production line stoppageOperate all functions of a rework stationAbout YouTo succeed in this role, you'll bring a strong passion for electronics and precision manufacturing, along with a proactive, hands-on approach to your work.
