Overview
Cloud & Platform Lead is a key leadership role responsible for driving the development and management of the private and public cloud platforms within the organisation. This role involves leading the work of the infrastructure and cloud teams, understanding business requirements, defining product vision and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reliable and scalable solutions. The role will work closely with stakeholders to gather and prioritise requests, define product roadmaps and ensure that the private and public cloud platforms meet evolving needs of Healthscope through continuous improvement. Strong technical expertise in VMware private cloud and Azure public cloud technologies, strong communication skills and the ability to effectively lead a team are crucial.
Responsibilities
* Monitor productivity and performance of servers, create schedules for updates, upgrades and patch management.
* Manage data centre availability and relevant contracts, commercial licences and ensure SLAs are reviewed and met where applicable.
* Ensure Healthscope technology infrastructure services are fit for purpose, responsive, maintained, available and reliable, and secure; including cloud services, on-premises infrastructure, servers, virtualization, databases, Active Directory, backups, and Disaster Recovery.

Qualifications
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in a relevant role and industry.
* Experience developing architectural strategies and roadmaps, with cloud migration and transformation.
* Infrastructure engineering and operations: VMware, storage, Microsoft Server products, Citrix, enterprise network and security systems, and remote access technologies.
* Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and hybrid cloud services.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a multi-skilled national technology team.
* Commercial acumen, experience developing cost centre and capital expenditure budgets.
* Experience in contract development, review, and management, including SLAs.
* Ability to set realistic stretch objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets; identify cost reduction opportunities.
* Exceptional planning and execution skills with the ability to drive outcomes and motivate others.
