Advanced Trainee Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Advanced Trainee to join our team. As an Advanced Trainee, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients while developing your expertise in General and Acute Care Medicine.

The role involves working in various settings, including Wollongong Hospital, Shellharbour Hospital, and Shoalhaven Hospital. You will be exposed to a wide range of clinical cases and will have the opportunity to develop your skills in assessment, care planning, care provision, case management, and management of unstable patients.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will also be expected to participate in educational activities, such as teaching and research, to contribute to the development of medical education and practice.
Salary:
$110,986.00 - $139,187.00 per annum
Job Description:
This is a full-time position that requires you to work 38 hours per week. The role involves providing high-quality clinical care to patients, participating in educational activities, and contributing to the advancement of medical knowledge and practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* MBBS or equivalent qualification
* Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
* Eligible for Advanced Training in General and Acute Care Medicine, RACP
* Demonstrated teamwork, time management, and problem-solving skills
* Demonstrated competency in clinical skills, including assessment, care planning, care provision, case management, and management of unstable patients
* Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Demonstrated commitment to General and Acute Care Medicine Advanced Training program
