About the role
As a Concierge/Administration Officer you will be providing a range of administrative support services across a range of complex issues to support the Centre and Senior Management Team. You will also be located in the visitor's reception, handling calls and greeting visitors. This role has a rotating roster of Monday to Sunday and is centre‐based at the Yongah Hill Immigration Detention Centre.
Key responsibilities
* Greet staff, stakeholders and visitors at the front of house/reception
* Ensure all people entering the centre are signing in on the appropriate registers and checking documentation
* Legal bookings AVL and teleconferences
* Process of mail and property drop off
* Support day-to-day operations of MTC administration
* Provide effective and high-quality customer service
* Generalised administrative duties as required
To be successful
* Have demonstrated experience in a concierge/administration role
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* A can‐do attitude – someone who thrives in fast‐paced environments
* Strong attention to detail
* Have a strong focus on customer service
* Adaptable to changing and competing priorities, with an ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Have a First Aid Certificate – HLTAID011 Provide First Aid (including CPR) (or willingness to obtain)
* Have a Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Proven rights to work in Australia
