The Company: Our client, MCM – Marine & Civil Maintenance, is a respected national engineering contractor specialising in marine infrastructure, bridge works and civil remediation projects. With more than 30 years of experience delivering complex infrastructure across Australia, MCM has built a strong reputation for extending the life of critical assets through innovative engineering and high-quality project delivery. Projects range from bridge rehabilitation and marine structures through to complex remediation works across metropolitan and regional locations. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Estimator to join their Perth office and play a key role in preparing high-quality tenders and supporting the company’s expanding national project pipeline. The Role: You will be responsible for managing allocated tenders from initial review through to submission, ensuring accurate cost estimates and competitive bids. This role requires strong analytical capability, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers to produce high-quality submissions. The position is primarily office-based in Perth, with occasional travel for tenders and team meetings in Melbourne and other project locations. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for marine and civil construction tenders Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify risks and opportunities Manage allocated tenders through to submission Coordinate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers Ensure tender submissions meet all requirements including pricing, HSEQ statistics, capability statements and financial information Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop competitive and compliant bids Contribute to improving tender quality, cost accuracy and success rates Support company safety, environmental and quality systems during the tendering process Assist with mentoring Graduate Estimators where required About You: You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys solving problems and building competitive project bids. You are comfortable working under pressure, managing deadlines and collaborating with technical teams.
