Are you ready to take the helm in coordinating marine operations that support national interests? Toll is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and motivated individuals for the role of Marine Services Coordinator within a Government and Defence capacity for a berthing facility. The role involves managing and coordinating marine service operations, working with suppliers, sub-contractors, service technicians, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant marine activities across wharves, ports and sites. This position is suitable for someone with a robust operational mindset, excellent coordination skills, and an interest in maritime service excellence in a government or defence setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily marine operations including vessel movements, crew logistics, victuals supplies, petroleum supplies and other port services.
- Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and protocols.
- Liaise with government departments, port authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Maintain accurate service records, logs, and operational reports.
- Support marine-related projects including supply chain and customer coordination.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures for inspections and audits.
- Oversee ordering and freight/cargo operations for victuals deliveries from Perth Airport to Christmas Island.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in marine operations, logistics, or naval operations.
- Strong knowledge of maritime laws, health and safety standards, and marine coordination software.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage complex schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and managing systems and documentation of sensitive information.
- Calm under pressure with a proactive and analytical mindset.

- AGSVA Baseline Clearance (Australian Government Security Vetting Agency)
- Department of Home Affairs ESC Clearance (Employment Security Clearance)
