About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Trainer to deliver training in Marine Services on the Gold Coast.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and compliant training in accordance with the relevant Training Package. This will involve facilitating both theory and practical classes in a workshop and classroom setting, as well as assessing student competence in line with ASQA Standards and training package requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality training in accordance with the Training Package
* Facilitate theory and practical classes in a workshop and classroom setting
* Assess student competence in line with ASQA Standards and training package requirements
* Provide student support, mentoring, and constructive feedback
* Liaise with industry partners to support work-based training placements
* Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with compliance requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116 with upgrade units), as well as trade qualifications or extensive industry experience in boat building, marine craft construction, composites/fibreglass, or related marine trades.
