Northern Star Resources is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to join our Jundee Operations team on an 8:6 FIFO roster. Reporting to the Regional IT Superintendent, you will manage and support site IT systems, ensuring reliable, secure and efficient technology services across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and business applications. This hands‐on role also offers the opportunity to deliver small‐to‐medium IT projects on‐site and support larger business technology initiatives across operations.
Responsibilities
* Deliver responsive IT support and exceptional customer service to employees and contractors across multiple site operations.
* Install, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, networks, printers, mobile devices and business applications.
* Monitor and manage IT infrastructure to ensure maximum system performance, reliability, security and uptime.
* Maintain password management systems, data security compliance standards and update support documentation.
* Administer user accounts, Office365 environments, Windows Server systems and service desk support activities.
* Coordinate procurement, hardware refreshes, upgrades and implementation of site‐based IT projects and network extensions.
* Participate in an on‐call support roster and provide timely escalation and resolution of urgent technical issues.
Qualifications
* Degree in Computer Studies or equivalent experience, with Microsoft, VMware and ITIL certifications highly regarded.
* Experience Minimum 3years supporting enterprise IT infrastructure, including multi‐site environments within the mining industry, with strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, cloud services, virtualization, backups, disaster recovery and network systems within an ITIL‐driven environment.
