Opportunity
As a Design Manager, you will lead multi-discipline design teams across Civil, Structural and Mechanical disciplines, building on your experience in water and wastewater design for conveyance pipelines, hydraulic structures, pump stations, service reservoirs and water facilities.
Responsibilities
Lead multi-discipline design teams and be accountable for the delivery of high-quality design outputs.
Work collaboratively with teams to manage overall delivery of designs to time, budget and quality, guiding project delivery to achieve high client satisfaction.
Manage engineering governance processes (design reviews, change management, request for information, validation and verification, etc.).
About You
Chartered Professional Engineer or equivalent.
Bachelor's engineering degree in the relevant discipline.
Strong understanding of the Australian water industry, water utilities/water treatment, industry standards and best practices.
Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
Highly organised, with outstanding technical and communication skills, and a desire to lead and mentor a team.
