Vacation Engineering Program
The Vacation Student Program offers university students a chance to work alongside experienced engineers and gain practical skills in a public transport setting. This twelve-week program is designed to provide opportunities for students studying engineering to apply their skills in a real-world environment.
This program has been consistently voted as one of the top intern programs in Australia since 2018. The Public Transport Authority's business enables students to develop an understanding of its operations and contribute to its success.
About the Role:
* Students who are currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic (or equivalent) are invited to join the program.
* During the twelve-week program, students will be assigned a workplace supervisor and complete meaningful work enabling them to make an active contribution to the organization.
* Students will also be part of a networking group which connects them with current/previous graduates.

Requirements
* Be currently studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering in either Electrical, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent). Preference will be given to students currently in their penultimate year of study.
* Commit to and be available for full-time employment over the 12-week program.
