Western Work Force is an Australian owned recruitment company and are a market leader in providing temporary, contract and permanent staffing solutions across various industry sectors.
Our client is a leading Construction company based in Perth and have projects running Australia wide including the Pilbara, WA region. Due to commencement of a new camp build project in North-West WA, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Site Supervisor, who will have the main responsibility of overseeing the construction process and leading a team of trades people. This position will work closely with and report into the Construction Site Manager and act as the client liaison for the company.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Delivering end to end construction project supervision on certain areas of the camp build process.
* Scheduling works, labour, and materials to ensure project delivery meets required timeframe.
* Review construction plans, Engineering drawings and documentation for the build process.
* Supervise carpenters, builders and various construction trades people and assistants.
* Maintain a strong working relationship with the client, employees, and subcontractors.
* Ensure quality standards of work are maintained at all times.
* Ensure OHSE standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.
* Complete inspections, JHA's, safety checks and all appropriate paperwork.
* Project progress reporting to senior management
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience required:
* Previous experience gained in a Supervisory position within construction industry.
* Exceptional people management and time management skills.
* FIFO and mine-site experience.
* White card.
* Prepared to undergo pre-employment medical and DAS.
* Valid driver's licence.
