 
        
        Therapy Practitioner Role
The role involves providing assessment, treatment and discharge planning for acute medical, orthopaedic and elderly frail patients in accordance with national and local guidelines and standards.
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team (MDT) and health professionals is crucial. Supervising, teaching and appraising physiotherapy practitioners is also essential.
The successful candidate will participate in continuing professional development (CPD), inter-professional skills training (IST), audit, evidence-based projects and service development initiatives.
The team consists of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Coordinators and Rehab Assistants. A strong multidisciplinary approach ensures effective working across professions.
