About the role
As a Leisure and Lifestyle Officer you'll be part of an experienced, caring and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of St Vincent's Care Services Maroochydore.
St Vincent's Care Services Maroochydore is a modern, lifestyle-oriented aged care service located in a master-planned community precinct within walking distance of restaurants and shops centre on Queensland's famed Sunshine Coast.
Qualifications and experience
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Health with 1 year experience is essential.
* Experience in an aged care facility, developing Leisure programs including working with dementia clients
* Previous experience in managing small teams
* Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
Other requirements
* Ability to work minimum 6 shifts per fortnight on a permanent part time basis.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
* Ability to follow directives as per care plan
* Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
