Position Overview
Role: Payroll AnalystLocation: Parramatta, NSW, AustraliaEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Monday – Friday)
Responsibilities
* Handle end-to-end weekly and monthly payroll processing (including super, tax, and leave payments).
* Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
* Support staff and management with payroll‐related queries.
* Interpret awards, agreements, and contracts for overtime and shift allowances.
* Calculate and process annual leave, LSL provisions, accruals, and termination payments.
* Process pay increases, changes, and back‐pay calculations.
* Maintain electronic employee files to meet legal requirements.
* Generate payroll reports to satisfy internal and statutory obligations.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of payroll experience.
* Degree or diploma in HR or Accounting (preferred).
* Intermediate skills with large payroll systems and MS Excel; SAP experience is highly regarded.
* Solid understanding of Australian legislation for PAYG Tax, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and related compliance obligations.
* Team player with a proven track record of collaboration.
* Passion for delivering excellent customer service and results.
* High attention to detail and strong prioritisation and organisation skills.
