Currently we are seeking a Senior Structural Drafter to join our growing team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with structural engineers and architects to produce high-quality technical drawings and construction documentation for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.

In this role you will:
Competently draft from engineers initial sketch design to produce working drawings which can be interpreted by builders.
Liaise with engineers and architects on the preparation and coordination of documentation.
Assist Lead Engineer in the preparation of preliminary sketch designs from architectural drawings as required.
Handle project correspondence via document management sites e.g. Aconex, Incite & ProjectWeb.
Actively input ideas to the progressive improvement of the drafting systems
Communicate relevant project information as appropriate to the project leaders/project team.
What do we look for in our structural drafters?
Relevant TAFE qualification
Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally around 3-5 years
Proficient in structural drafting using Revit
Strong understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
