The successful candidate will have the autonomy to support the legal needs of major capital works and land-based infrastructure projects, guiding internal teams and helping shape practical legal frameworks.
The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, managing land access and easement arrangements, and providing clear, business-friendly legal advice to project managers, engineers, and executives.
In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with non-legal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements
* Managing land access and easement arrangements
* Providing clear, business-friendly legal advice
* Supporting land dealings, project governance and risk management activities
Requirements
* Bachelor of Laws and current Australian practicing certificate
* 5+ years post-admission experience in infrastructure, construction, property or commercial law
* Proven ability to draft and negotiate a broad range of contracts
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and communicate clearly with non-legal stakeholders
