About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you'll help care for our residents' health and overall quality of life. Your personalised clinical care and empathetic approach will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role
IRT Kangara Waters is located at Belconnen, ACT. This is a Part time opportunity working following morning shifts (7am to 3:30pm):
Week1: Thursday
Week2: Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Hourly base rate between $41.84 and $53.44 per hour, plus shift penalties depending on the experience.
Your work may include:
* Providing clinical care
* Managing and supervising care workers
* Undertaking client assessments
* Monitoring clients' care needs, evaluation care plans
* Providing treatment as required
To Be Successful You Will Have
* Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration
* Knowledge of clinical issues of ageing, including dementia related disorders and management of challenging behaviours
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* A big heart – you're empathetic and have a passion for supporting older Australians to live their best life possible
* Experience working as a registered nurse in an aged care centre environment (desirable)
