The Apartment Store Pty Ltd (trading as Room. Design. FFE) specializes in creating custom furniture, fittings, and equipment (FF&E;) fit outs for various sectors, including hotels, tourism, retirement living, property management, and mining. We provide end-to-end services, from interior design to installation.
**Position Description**
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. The role is based at our Keswick location and will involve assisting the Creative Director in handling of interior design of projects and generating proposals. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Build project proposal documents using the ROOM preferred template for clients based on their specific requirements and scopes.
- Create and maintain project folders on OneDrive to house all related documentation including product images, client supplied floor plans and supplier quotes.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, confirm quantities and availabilities and seek advice on alternative solutions.
- Build upon ROOM supplier network by researching new product applicable to our projects.
- Build project quotations in Aroflo.
- Build on and maintain product inventory in Aroflo.
- Execution of end-to-end projects from taking a client brief through to delivery of proposal and quotation under the guidance of the Interior Architect.
- Develop the ability to handle a diverse and at times complex number of quotes at the same time with effective management of priorities versus available resources.
- Able to use Sketch up to generate 2D renders for client proposal preparation to scale
- Utilise architectural curation of furniture to enhance the living space of our clients projects.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of plans, scopes and requirements from client
- Project logistics - source appropriate stock inline with project requirements to minimise delays and keep costs down in regards to freight and logistics of projects.
- General administration support.
**About You**
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and attributes;
- Architectural Design Certification an advantage.
- Highly organised with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a time critical environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with ability to manage clients in a high-pressure environment (at times)
- Good team player with the ability to support an effective working relationship at all levels.
- Must have a high degree of data accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sketch drawings of plans
- Current Drivers Licence
**Salary**
If successful, you will be paid a base salary between $75,000 and $85,000 per annum.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
