Requirements for this role:
- Flexible hours available
- Expected salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year
Sponsorship opportunities:
- Sponsorship opportunities available for 407 and 482 VISA.
- Salary negotiable within the Federal Award with a range of $65,000-$80,000 plus superannuation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the preparation of dishes is of a high standard and aligns with Six Degrees’ creative flair.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment, following health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially during busy periods like live music nights.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience as a Qualified Chef.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and hygiene practices.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy service periods.
- Passion for food, creativity in cooking, and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Available to work a rotating roster including weekends.
