The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially-minded Business Development Manager to focus on the Industrial and Commercial Electrical, Automation, and related sectors. You will identify and secure new business opportunities, develop strong client relationships, and work closely with internal teams to position the company's capabilities effectively in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement business development strategies and sales plans.
Identify and pursue current leads, projects, and market opportunities.
Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, consultants, OEMs, and industry stakeholders.
Prepare proposals, capability statements, presentations, and tender submissions.
Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, and Operations teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting.
About You
Demonstrated experience in business development or account management within Industrial/Commercial Electrical, Automation, or Engineering sectors.
Proven record of achieving sales targets and securing new business.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to translate technical information into commercial opportunities.
Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office.
Current Australian driver's licence.

Salary range: $90,000-$120,000 per annum.
