Programmed is hiring Terminal Planners on behalf of a leading rail freight operator to join their growing planning team supporting a major contract. These Adelaide-based roles involve inbound and outbound planning with opportunities for cross-skilling across both streams. This is a hands-on role for candidates with strong supply chain experience and a focus on operational excellence.

Role Overview
Contribute to the successful delivery of the planning portfolio, supporting teams, managers, customers, and stakeholders.
Execute and maintain efficient load plans.
Develop plans, diagrams, projects, and initiatives to manage variation against baseline schedules and forecasts.
Provide material demand plans to logistics to ensure timely ordering and delivery.
Produce regular performance reports and provide advice to managers and stakeholders.
Optimise inventory levels to balance supply and demand, minimise costs, and ensure timely delivery.
Monitor inventory performance, identify shortages or surpluses, and implement corrective actions.
Key Requirements
Experience in supply chain and / or heavy industry (mandatory).
Strong knowledge of modelling concepts and planning systems; supply chain knowledge preferred.
Advanced computer skills, including Excel and planning / forecasting tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to analyse complex technical issues and develop robust solutions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
