Pay rate is market competitive and depends on experience and qualifications. This is a temp-to-permanent full time prospect and paid as per the Enterprise Agreement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Support tradespeople, contractors and operators with general labouring assistance, by operating hand and power tools and by cleaning and preparing worksite.
- Ensuring the worksite and associated equipment is clean, safe, tidy and ready for use.
- Undertaking and completing assigned tasks with mínimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Fitting components onto vehicles
- Assisting technicians with tasks in the workshop
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and tidiness ensuring workshop areas are kept in order
**Requirements**:
- Previous exposure and experience in a vehicle manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
- Applicants with previous experience in Chassis/Construction and or Fabrication, would highly be advantageous
- Fabrication experience preferred
- MUST be able to read drawings and use hand tools
