A growing technical solutions provider is seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician - Engineering Support to join their team. This role combines workshop, technical support, and light field service, giving you the chance to apply your electronics skills across a variety of tasks.
Working closely with the Technical & Engineering team, you'll be involved in testing, repairs, customer support, and quality assurance. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and being part of a supportive team, this is a great opportunity.
With the current Technical Manager being promoted into a senior role, this position has a clear career pathway for the right candidate to step up into Project Management over time.
Key Responsibilities
 * Perform equipment checks, testing, and calibrations.
 * Provide phone/email technical support to internal staff and customers.
 * Fault-find and repair electrical/electronic controllers (ideally down to PCB level).
 * Assist with workshop assembly, equipment repairs, and firmware/software updates.
 * Manage warranty claims and goods-in inspections.
 * Maintain workshop stock, registers, and follow WHS procedures.
 * Occasionally provide on-site technical support (commissioning, service, or repairs).
What We're Looking For
 * TAFE qualification in electronics/electrical (degree not required).
 * Practical experience in electronic/electrical fault finding.
 * Mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools/light machinery.
 * Strong computer skills (MS Office, databases).
 * Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
 * Professional, reliable, and a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have (Not Essential)
 * Exposure to ISO systems (9001, 14001,
 * Knowledge of process control or chemistry-related systems.
 * Familiarity with social media/marketing platforms.
