Project Director - Landside - Airport Central Services
Manages project planning and execution for assigned scope.
The Program Director shall have demonstrated leadership and abilities to build a cohesive team focused on the safe and timely delivery of the assigned scope.
Overseeing the preparation of a consolidated Request for Tender document (collating and reviewing inputs from 3rd Party Designers, and Service Providers).
Actively participating through the procurement phase including evaluations and recommendations to award.
Manages construction (and design components if a D&C deed) through to practical completion including commissioning phases and ORAT support (as applicable) to assure compliance with the contract obligations relative to safety, environment, sustainability, quality, schedule and budget.
Ensures the Capital Portfolio's safe working procedures and practices are fully understood and that such procedures and practices are being effectively implemented.
Manages defect period and handover of all documentation.
Ensures scope, design basis and objectives are defined, best practices/lessons learned reviewed, detailed work plans, schedules, budgets and procedures are established, including: Plan for addressing critical cross-functional work processes and systems, etc.
Monitors contractual commitments to ensure that all work is being performed in accordance with the specifications, drawings and terms of the contract, that change orders and claims are processed in a timely manner.
Implements and maintains a change management control system.
Ensure the Contractor adheres to their reporting requirements as set out in the Contract, paying particular attention to completeness of information and timing of delivery.
Leadership
Manages the work efforts of managers or professionals.
Responsible for staffing decisions, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
Supports the training of new team members as required, through both formal training courses and on-the-job training.
Makes decisions based on business objectives and allocated resources.
May be responsible for a major functional Program and not have any subordinate employees.
Participates in planning and budgeting.
Prepares, assembles or contributes to board reports.
