Job Overview
As a Production Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall organisational production, quality and safety objectives are met.
* Drive change and supervise team members to foster a collaborative team environment with all plant stakeholders.
* Conduct daily start-up meetings and team meetings to report on KPIs and monitor manning levels per station.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Production Operations: Ensure processes for each workstation are up to date and control parts shortages.
* Team Management: Lead, motivate, encourage and manage performance of the production team.
* Quality Assurance: Initiate investigations, promote Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and secure corrective actions for deviations.
* Safety and Environment: Ensure compliance with VGA's Environmental Policy and Workplace Health & Safety policies and practices.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* 5+ years working in a manufacturing environment.
* Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent.
* Significant experience in leadership roles, logistics systems and processes.
* Demonstrated health, safety and environment focus.

Education and Qualifications

* Sound knowledge of AS-400 and MS Office software.
