Product Specialist Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Product Specialist to join our sales team for Sydney West & South. This is an exciting opportunity to sell innovative Orthopaedic products focussed on Sport Medicine Implants and Biologics.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for determining sales strategies for key accounts, implementing agreed sales strategies, and generating new sales opportunities.
You will also be required to cover surgical cases, set up trials, and communicate with senior executives and key decision-makers. Meeting quarterly and annual targets is essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Determine sales strategies for key accounts with the assistance of Regional Sales Manager, National Sales & Marketing Directors, and Marketing colleagues.
2. Implement agreed sales strategies.
3. Prepare customer proposals for sales, contracts, pricing agreements, and consignments.
4. Follow up customer requests in a timely and professional manner.
5. Generate new sales opportunities and maintain existing business.
6. Cover surgical cases & set-up trials.
7. Communicate with senior executives and key decision-makers.
8. Meet quarterly and annual targets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high level of energy, motivation, drive, perseverance, initiative, commitment, and professionalism.
* Excellent time management and prioritizing abilities.
* 2+ years of prior consistent quota achievement/top performance in Medical Device Sales, selling into the Operating Theatre environment (preferred).
* Tenacious and focused on achieving goals.
