A Global Consultancy organisation who is engaged on high-profile projects is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Cloud Azure Platform to lead the management and implementation of hosting environments within Microsoft Azure. This role will involve overseeing the design, setup, and management of cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
Role Overview:
As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in the setup and management of the Cloud Azure hosting environment for a mission-critical project. You will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing both technical resources and vendors to ensure that the cloud environment is implemented, optimized, and maintained successfully. Your leadership will drive the timely delivery of the project and ensure the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup and deployment of hosting cloud environments using Microsoft Azure for development, test, and production stages.
- Work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure the design, implementation, and operation of Azure cloud environments meet project requirements.
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively, ensuring milestones are met on time.
- Supervise and direct technical teams responsible for cloud infrastructure and hosting solutions.
- Monitor project risks, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to cloud environments.
- Drive continuous improvements and optimizations within the Azure platform.
To be successful in this position you will be a highly experienced Senior Project Manager who has solid experience in managing cloud-based hosting environments, preferably with Microsoft Azure. You will also have solid experience in managing vendors and technical resources. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are a must.
