THE OPPORTUNITY
We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Pump Technician to join the JTMEC team based at our Orange Workshop in a full-time residential role, working a 5/2 roster with opportunities for overtime.
Reporting to the NSW Pump Manager, this role will primarily involve:
* Testing & repair of Submersible Pumps
* Loading and unloading of pumps, parts and stock on/off couriers
* Completing delivery dockets as required
* Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
* Regular deliveries and trips to various sites, including some of our underground work locations
The successful applicant will receive Professional on-the-job training to cover all areas of pump repairs to ensure we uphold the high standards our customers have come to expect.
This is a specialised industry role providing a high level of job security.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
* Have a basic and practical knowledge of hand tools.
* Motivated and willing to learn new skills.
* Hardworking self-starter who is reliable, honest and takes pride in your work.
* Possess a current 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
* Demonstrate a commitment to a ZERO harm culture.
* Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
* Applicants with prior experience encouraged to apply.
The following are preferred but not essential:
* MR or HR class driver's licence
* Mechanical trade or sound level of mechanical aptitude
* LVR/CPR
