About our position
We're looking for an ambitious and driven professional to join our global software sales team as a Business Development Representative (BDR)to develop target accounts for prospecting. Through outbound calling and emails, the BDR will research, cultivate, and qualify inbound leads and set meetings designed to generate new opportunities for the software sales team throughout the Asia-Pacific region. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
What you'll be doing
* Working with sales and marketing leadership to develop target accounts for prospecting.
* Following up, cultivating, researching and qualifying inbound leads for the sales team, and generating new opportunities through outbound calling and email.
* Updating and maintaining data integrity in our CRM system.
* Achieving call and meeting goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
* Maintaining and actioning lead tasks in a timely manner as set in CRM.
* Continuing to grow and increase product knowledge and sales skills.
* Representing organisation at sales events and industry trade shows from time to time.
Performing other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
What we want you to have
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong drive and a determined sales approach.
* Experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calls.
* Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, and/or iMIS).
* Understanding of sales performance metrics.
Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role, with a track record of achieving appointment/lead quotas, preferred.

Compensation
The compensation for this position is determined based on a wide variety of factors, including but not limited to an individual's skill set, experience, training, certifications, education, as well as business needs and internal equity. Employees are typically not hired at the top of the range for their role. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is AU$55,000 – AU$65,000.
