The Administration Distribution Officer plays a vital role in the Social and Community Services Team, working on a short-term contract.
About the Role
This position requires highly responsive customer service, attention to detail and flexible support to ensure smooth operations across the Community Care team.
* Administrative duties including switchboard management, word processing, communication dissemination, and customer inquiries
* Accurate record keeping and data entry across multiple IT platforms
* Meals on Wheels stock control processes including freezer work, stock rotation, inventory management, meal packing and ordering
* Purchase Order management and Receipting in line with council protocols
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* A current C Class Driver's license
* A minimum 2 years administration experience, adept at managing daily tasks efficiently
* Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant business technologies
* Experience in food distribution is desirable, including tasks such as lifting, stock rotation, inventory management, order processing and meticulous attention to allergen labelling and packing
