About the role
As a Tyre Fitter/Automotive Mechanic, you will be required to carry out the fitting, balancing, puncture repairs and general/major servicing. You are also able to identify and rectify faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear by checking and servicing the steering system, suspension, identifying and interpreting tyre and rim regulations while making adjustments to the alignment. Conducting post alignment checks is also critical.

We are busy workshop with a great team of mechanics behind us. Due to significant growth, we need to employ more staff to keep up with our customer demand.
Duties & Responsibilities
* A switched on individual who can show leadership and initiative
* Must have previous experience working in the Australian Motor Industry on all makes of vehicles.
* Be able to work independently and be able to diagnose problems on vehicles and report on them.
* Must be an enthusiastic individual who has a keen interest in vehicles
* Working on a wide range of cars
* Must have full Australian Drivers licence
* Display high attention to detail
* You will be required to work some overtime
* Must be reliable & supply own tool
* Full Australian working rights
* Certificate III in Automotive qualification is required.
* We operate 6 days a week, Monday - Friday and half day Saturday.
* Supporting the workshop manager/team in maintaining high standards and assisting with customer service when required as well as previous experience working with air-conditioning would be beneficial but not essential.
* Knowledge of the tyre industry will assist your transition into this career defining role however is not essential. Training will be provided to assist you to succeed in the role. If you are serious about joining a global employer then we would like to hear from you.
