Details: The Salary Packaging Team is on the lookout for an enthusiastic, energetic, and people‑focused Team Leader. If you love leading by example, enjoy rolling up your sleeves when needed, and have a passion for great customer service, we’d love to hear from you!
This is a true middle‑management role, which means you’ll be doing more than just leading from the sidelines. To effectively support the Team, you’ll bring demonstrated experience administering salary packaging benefits within a public sector environment and be comfortable stepping into the operational space when required. Your practical knowledge will enable you to confidently support team members, provide sound guidance, and contribute meaningfully towards day‑to‑day service delivery.
You’ll thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment, be comfortable juggling competing priorities, and have an eye for detail to ensure deadlines are met and clients receive consistently high‑quality outcomes. A well‑developed understanding of the systems and software that support salary packaging administration is essential, and experience working with public sector salary packaging systems will be highly valued.
An understanding of the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) legislation that underpins salary packaging services will be a distinct advantage.
Most importantly, you’re someone who genuinely enjoys supporting people. You’ll demonstrate a strong commitment to high‑quality customer service, along with the ability to lead, manage and support a busy team. As this role involves providing accurate, timely and high‑quality advice to a range of internal and external stakeholders, excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
