The Practice
A stellar private practice located in Heidelberg, attracting a highly skilled and acclaimed group of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists who provide specialist ultrasound services. With Melbourne enjoying yet another 'baby boom', this is a busy practice with long term staff stability and enduring high performance. To ensure the ongoing high quality of patient service, our client is looking to add a permanent part time Medical Receptionist to the team to work 2 days per week - Thursday & Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm.
The Role
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the Medical Receptionist role provides a mature and empathetic front of house service to all doctors, patients and visitors. Flexibility to cover leave for other staff is also required which may include the ability to step into a 2IC capacity when the Practice Manager is away. The Medical Receptionist role is multifaceted and offers interesting administration variety, patient liaison and productive appointment coordination and billing, as well as some procedure preparation and in room support for patients.
About You
With previous experience as a Medical Receptionist, you will have sound knowledge of specialist rooms and particular understanding of a referral based practice. Outstanding communication skills and the ability to connect with patients will come naturally to you. A team focused approach, and the ability to juggle many daily tasks in a busy healthcare workplace, coupled with the maturity to work autonomously. Your professional and friendly persona will round out your commitment to first class service. You will also be tech savvy with experience using Genie software.
