We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Specialist contractor to support, design, and deliver Microsoft-based solutions across cloud and hybrid environments. This role is suited to someone hands-on who can quickly integrate into existing projects and take ownership of technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administration, configuration, and support of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive
* Azure tenant management, covering subscriptions, resource groups, networking, and security controls
* Identity and access management using Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, MFA, and role-based access control
* Intune / Endpoint Manager configuration for Windows, iOS, and Android devices, including compliance policies, application deployment, and Autopilot
* Implementation and support of security features such as Microsoft Defender, Secure Score, and baseline policies
* Troubleshooting complex issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, identity, and endpoint platforms
* Supporting migrations, upgrades, and new tenant builds where required
* Producing clear technical documentation and providing handover knowledge
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong, proven experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure in production environments
* In-depth knowledge of Entra ID, Conditional Access, and modern authentication
* Hands-on experience with Intune and modern workplace management
* Good understanding of Microsoft security and compliance tooling
* Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines
* Contracting experience preferred
