About the Role
Working under the direction of the site electricians, you will be the trade assistant who will learn the operations and maintenance systems and ensure that your work is executed safely, to a high standard and with minimal down time to the assets on Solar Farm.
Responsibilities
Help site electricians with maintenance tasks, repairs, and routine plant work.
Operate machinery and equipment such as tractors, mowers, telehandlers, and backhoes.
Carry out vegetation control, including mowing, mulching, spraying, and general grounds upkeep.
Maintain site cleanliness, including cleaning tools, removing rubbish, and keeping work areas protected.
Handle administrative tasks such as stocktakes, inventory checks, and updating work orders in the CMMS.
Qualifications & Experience
Current driving license
Live locally to the solar farm (maximum 1 hour drive)
LVR/CPR ticket
Fist aid ticket
Use initiative, make decisions, motivated and qualified attitude
Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
